It shall be the duty and responsibility of this board to:
1. Provide and carry out opportunities for the church to meet together in informal settings and organized gatherings in order to build up the life of the congregation in mutual cooperation, trust, and enjoyment.
2. Be the channel for groups within the church, organized primarily (although not exclusively) for fellowship to be represented on the Council).
3. Be responsible for assimilating new members into the church and provide means for all members to become more acquainted with each other and grow in the oneness that is shared in Jesus Christ.
